The power couple is expected to have a rehearsal event on the evening of July 2, followed by a larger celebration on July 3, with approximately 1,000 guests expected to attend, sources said.

The New York Police Department will deploy extra officers to the area around Madison Square Garden for the celebration, according to a law enforcement official with knowledge of the plans. Organizers are also building a tent to obstruct the view of a portion of West 31st Street near Seventh Avenue, allowing guests to exit their vehicles privately.
NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch addressed security questions at a news conference, stating that the department will have “a detail in place” but declined to provide specific details.
